The wife of the president, Aisha Buhari has been hospitalised following trauma she suffered after she received the shocking news of the condition of her son, Yusuf. He who was last Tuesday involved in a motorbike accident in Abuja.
Mrs. Buhari was in Adamawa when the news was broken to her. She immediately rushed to Abuja to see him at Cedacrest private hospital, where he’s being attended to. There are indications was denied access to the intensive ward by security operatives.
Yusuf’s Condition May Be Worse Than Reported
According to our source, she became traumatized, following the denial of access. Consequently, she drew conclusion that the action of was a move to shield her from knowing the true condition of Yusuf’s health and how bad it was after the accident. We learnt she has been placed on bed rest at the same private hospital in Abuja.
According to the Senior Special Assistant on media and publicity to the President, Garba Shehu, “The President and his wife, Aisha Buhari, are thankful to Nigerians for the good wishes and prayers for their son. He added that Yusuf sustained a head injury and broken limbs.
Staff of the presidential villa and aides of the President on Thursday offered special prayers for the quick recovery of Yusuf.
President Buhari was also joined by prominent Nigerians at the Aso Villa Mosque yesterday where special prayers were offered for the speedy recovery of the young man.
Meanwhile, the condition of the President’s son may be worse than feared. This follows the restricted access on orders from above. The President’s wife is a known critic of the administration. It is feared she may say exactly what she sees to the media.
