Latest NPFL Transfer News: Akwa United Raids, Signs Key Players From Rivers, Lobi And ABS

The 2017 Aiteo Federations Cup Champions, Akwa United have made a bold statement going into 2018. Following the departure of Alhassan Ibrahim and Moses Ebiye,  the Uyo based team has moved to recruit fresh legs.

Jainda Sports, during the team’s firs training session witnessed some new faces. Among them are Aminu Davies, Agata and Waza. They arrived from Lobi Stars, ABS FC, and Rivers United.

Meanwhile, There has not been an official confirmation yet, as regards the details of the transfers. But, the Media Officer speaking through the teams official Facebook page said:

CAF Confederation Cup contenders and Aiteo Cup Champions Akwa United Football Club will officially unveil its newly signed players for the 2018 Football League season on Saturday at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.

The Promise Keepers have recruited top quality players from other clubs within the country and they have been training with the team since the close of last season.

The new players will be officially presented to the media, fans and the public during the unveiling ceremony scheduled for Two O’clock in the afternoon and it will be followed by an exhibition match.
