Google Celebrates Keshi.
The world’s most popular search engine, Google has dedicated today to celebrate one of the most successful football icons in African Football, Stephen Keshi. The tech giant particurly joined the football community worldwide by creating a scribble on its search engine page. This is notably in recognition of the legacies of the ex-Nigeria International.
Stephen Okechukwu Keshi was formerly a Nigerian Football player and coach. He was born on January 23, 1962 in Bauchi State. Keshi however made history as the most successful African coach in 2013 after qualifying Nigeria for the World Cup. He had previously achieved this feat with Togo in 2006. He is also the second African to win the CAF Nations Cup both as a player and coach.
Stephen Keshi suddenly died on June 7, 2016 in Benin, Edo State. He suffered a heart attack, and died en route to the hospital at age 54.
