Manchester United are plotting a fresh approach for Monaco star Fabinho
The versatile Brazil international, who can play in full-back and defensive midfield roles, has made 28 appearances for the French giants this season, netting four times, and he has been consistently linked with a move to Old Trafford.
Jose Mourinho has openly stated his admiration for the player, while other European giants, Juventus and Atletico Madrid, have also declared their interest.
But, according to Don Balon, United will look to steal a march on their rivals by launching a fresh bid for the £35million-rated this month.
Fabinho has been deployed primarily as a defensive midfielder at Monaco but has shown his goalscoring instincts this season to increase his value.
The French club are reluctant to let one of their star assets leave midway through the season and United may be forced to wait until the summer to snap up one of their long-term transfer targets.
