Breaking: Chelsea Launches Shock Bid For West Ham’s Andy Carroll

Conte May Leave This Summer

The Telegraph, a reliable UK Newspaper has just announced a shocking Chelsea bid for West Ham’s Andy Caroll.

Chelsea has not been in their best form this season. Antonio Conte’s men were held to a goalless draw at Stamford Bridge by Leicester on Saturday. Indeed, Leicester were the far better team in the first half at Stamford Bridge as the Blues were below par.

In response, Chelsea are currently interested in taking Carroll on loan from West Ham United, which may not suit the Hammers who could sell strikers Diafra Sakho and Javier Hernandez.

If Carroll joins Chelsea it would undoubtedly be one of the shock deals of the season.

Carroll has only managed to score twice in the Premier League this campaign: both goals came in a 2-1 win over West Brom. He’s also only contributed one assist in the league this year.

Many Chelsea fans might regard this Carroll story as another indication that Antonio Conte is poised to leave the Blues this summer.

Indeed, this move for Carroll seems to be a stop-gap measure aimed at helping Chelsea until the summer only.
