The Housemates were shocked to the marrow as the door opened. It was no other person but Adesua Etomi walking in. The award-winning actress and singer walked in walked into the house with her usual simplicity but confidence.
The housemates could not wait to show her round the house to make her feel like one of them. After the tour and when the Housemates had fully celebrated her visit, they all settled in the lounge and had a very meaningful conversation.
See the moment she walked in below.
Adesua started by asking the housemates of their likes and dislikes. Cee-C shocked some viewers by claiming she can’t do without her lashes. (video below).
Etomi shared her secrets to life and the magic wand to her success. The newly wedded Mrs (Banky W) Wellington revealed that behind her seemingly perfect acting career is a product of hard work and artistry. According to her, she prays a lot. Adesua Etomi’s presence in the Big Brother Naija House was so captivating that the Housemates couldn’t help but were swept off by her strong aura.
Opportunity is key
Adesua in her own way made the Housemates comfortable with her presence. Her message was simple – she is not different from any of them. She was only given an opportunity to do what she loves and with enough preparation, she succeeded.
Adesua indirectly addressed some issues that have arisen in the House recently. She mentioned that age is never a deciding factor in the equation of life. In fact, she only got her big break in 2013, during her late 20s.
Furthermore, she neutralises hate with love and is consoled in the fact that there are more people that appreciate her craft than those that find fault in it. Basically, she feeds of the good and learns from the bad.
Give One Another a Chance
Etomi adviced the housemates to be much more open to love. After the Housemates mentioned bullying and biased behaviour as some of the things they absolutely loathed, she told everyone that no one was above another and that it is okay for them to have differences however, it was better to manage their anger and curb their hunger to quarrel, as no one can predict the future.
She advised them not to fear the unknown and assured them that it’s okay to create relationships, fall in love and let themselves go without forgetting who they are and where they come from. But they should give one another a chance.
The Housemates clearly appreciated the visit and as a token of their appreciation and in true African fashion, they packed her a take away lunch.
