Just about 3 months after P Diddy declared “I’m coming home”, Kanye West has made the first move. The controversial superstar has seemingly ignored Africa’s entertainment capital to set up a recording studio in Uganda. Kim Kardashian’s husband and staunch supporter of the Trump government is obviously putting together his highly anticipated album, YANDHI.
Kanye West has before now talked about recording in Ghana. The American rapper had earlier promised to release the highly anticipated album by this weekend, but has in fact pledged to officially release it on November 23.
The father of three – North(5), Saint(2), and eight-month-old Chicago – was quoted earlier this month as saying:
”We have to go to what is known as Africa. I just need to go and find out what it’s really called and grab the soil and cook five meals a day so the metabolism stays up and have my kids in the studio and have my mic in the open, so you can hear nature while we’re recording. ”We’re going to bring out the album on what is known as Black Friday on November 23, and I’m just so happy about what is happening.”
Meanwhile, the G.O.O.D Music boss was spotted at a five-star luxury resort in the relatively less popular East African country, with wife, Kim Kardashian and daughter North.
Big Sean is reportedly at the resort as well, most likely to collaborate with West on the album.

The rapper who has been embroiled in some bitter political controversies even quit twitter after his messy fight with Drake.
He is however reportedly back on the platform. What do you make of this? Is Uganda the best location in Africa?
